Pros: This application recognizes handwritten characters and converts them to computer recognizable text. This works with any Windows based pen enabled machine. The recognition software is able to recognize unrestricted and continuous handwriting. No initial training also is required by the program like many recognition programs do. Full screen writing capability is available. One can write complete sentences. The application automatically does the necessary segmentation to separate out the words and lines. Working with Windows based handwriting recognition software this application is claimed to achieve a better accuracy level than the Vista XP or the tablet PC accuracy. It understands natural editing gestures and includes handwritten shortcuts or pen macros to do routine tasks such as browsing, launching an application and so on. It software supports simple and reliable gestures for common operations like adding a line break or space, deleting a wrong letter, copying and pasting, or adding punctuation and special signs via the pop-up keyboard. It also allows you to choose variants of recognized words from the answer list. A range of pen color, width and style are supported.

Beside the built in dictionary it supports a custom dictionary to help continuously improve recognition. Industry specific and user defined words (medical terms, personal abbreviations, etc.) can be imported into custom user dictionary directly from generic text files such as clinical reports, saved emails, educational materials, web pages and other sources. The application provides the option of alternative choices for easy in-line correction of recognized word. Currently handwritten material in English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish languages is recognized by the program. Words can be imported to add to the vocabulary also. The solution is bundled with Fujitsu Lifebook and Hitachi Starboard machines.
